Vodárenská věž Děvín
Vodárenská věž Děvín (a s ní související čerpací stanice Děvín) je stavba pražské vodohospodářské infrastruktury. Účelem technologické stavby není (na rozdíl od klasických vodárenských věží) akumulace pitné vody v rezervoáru, ale tlumení tlakových vodních rázů vznikajících v přívodním řadu želivské vody z vodojemu v Jesenici u Prahy. Vodárenská věž Děvín se nachází na pražském kopci Děvín (310 m n. m.) nad levým břehem řeky Vltavy v lokalitě nazývané Dívčí hrady v katastru Prahy 5, na rozhraní Hlubočep a Radlic.
Devín water tower
The Devín water tower (and the associated Devín pump station) is a building of Prague's water management infrastructure. The purpose of the technological construction is not (in contrast to classic water towers) the accumulation of drinking water in the reservoir, but the damping of pressure water shocks arising in the supply line of the Želiv water from the reservoir in Jesenice near Prague. The Děvín water tower is located on Prague's Děvín hill (310 m above sea level) above the left bank of the Vltava River in the locality called Dívčí hrady in the cadastre of Prague 5, at the border of Hlubočep and Radlice.
